About

He is currently a senior Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communications at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, India. He completed his Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has several years of industrial, academic and research  experience to his credit.

Activities:

1. Chair in two sessions and Invited Speaker of the, IC-VCom 09, Inter-national Conference on VLSI and Communication Engineering, Signal Processing for Communications, held at Saint Gits Engineering College, Kottayam, 17-18,April 2009.

2. Chair and Invited Speaker in a session of the Second National Conference on VLSI and Communication Engineering, Trends on VLSI Technology, held at Saint Gits Engineering College, Kottayam, NC-VCOM 08, 14-15 March 2008.

3. Chair and Invited Speaker on a session of the Second International Conference on Resource Utilization and Intelligent Systems,  INCRUIS, Held at Kongu Engineering College, Erode, Jan 3-5,2008.

4. Initiated some of the following workshops in the department. Two courses with UGC/AICTE on VLSI Design organized ( Workshop ) Latest in June 2008.

5. Invited Faculty for one session on “Image Interpolation” of the Amrita-TCS Sangam workshop held in February 2009, in the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

6. A lecture delivered in GURU-06, "Prebreakdown Conduction in Vacuum Gaps under 50Hz Alternating Voltages", S.N.G.I.Technology, Moothakunnam, Kochi. 2006.

7. Course coordinator for M.Tech. programs: VLSI Design 2004; Remote Sensing and Wireless Sensor Networks 2006; Biomedical Engineering 2007.
